What pickups do you want to try right now?

If I sell my two Deans and get the Charvel SoCal Í've been eyeing, the Custom Custom and the Full Shred Neck.

Currently wanting to try the SH-18 whole lotta humbucker in the bridge of my DGT Could use just a bit more push than the 59 gives me in that one.
The new candy buckers and the high voltage set are both intriguing as well.

From other winders the Sigil Bluesman Chicago set has my interest piqued.

Re: What pickups do you want to try right now?

I'd like to try live wire single coils. Unfortunately there are no good demos of them played clean that I can find on the Internet.

Do it, Steve. I've got the set in a Roadhouse Strat. They sound exactly like classic Strat singles, with the added benefit of being noiseless in all positions and being self-buffered. That is, they aren't loaded down or change their character when plugged into anything downstream. Like non-buffered wah's.

But I have always wondered how an El Diablo would sound in it. The second model, the one with the twin A2 magnets as rails.

I love mine. It's surprisingly more "polite" and well-rounded than it's name would suggest. Mine's a "keeper." I can't imagine ever getting rid of this one.

For me, I'd love to try a pair of CS Stra-Bro-90's in something Mustang-ish. Or maybe a Duo-Sonic. I think that could be sweet.

Brobucker, EMG 57, (CreamT) Whiskerbucker "Eliminator," Gibson 57+, WLH bridge, Porter Anthem Plus, Jason Becker PB, Pegasus, Custom, BG 1400

I think I need another guitar or two lol

I'm unsure about the Fishman Fluences myself. They seem to have even less low-end than EMG 81, which is a already a very focused (not to say thin) pickup!

I've read the Fluence Fluence Alnico is pretty cool in the bridge too.

The Moderns are much tighter than a 81 which makes them unusable for E Standard for me personally, makes them a treat when down turning though.

As far as other brands go, I would like to try some Fralin's. And I have an old Bill & Becky 500XL laying around that I've never installed.

A Sd vintage tele bridge / bkp blackguard flat '52 uncovered neck set that I got for my Ashton tele that a friend currently has.

BkpApache set.

Would love to try out a brobucker, an antiquity Texas set, antiquity hb and P-90 sets among others.
