What pickups for Sublime cover band?

I am starting to play guitar in a Sublime cover band, and maybe doing a few other songs in similar styles. I am looking for 2 humbuckers to go in an HH Tele with alder body and rosewood board. What would be good choices for this type of sound?

go for something low output. i think sublimes guitarist used a strat with single coils though. maybe a stag mag or a dimarzio humbucker from hell would do you well with coil taps. or maybe even a hot bucker with coil taps

I would go with a maple fretboard and a custom cut pickguard. A Vintage stack in the bridge and a SM-1 in the neck.

You don't even need a custom pickguard if you're cool with using adapters:

brad from sublime used a sd jb in the bridge and a stock washburn neck pup, everybody who is a real fan of sublime knows that.

To be honest, I don't hear a huge influence in tone coming from the pickups. i hear mostly a relatively clean amp and some chewey, squashed compression. Dynacomp, maybe? Anyway, a JB in the bridge paired with a PGn, APHn, or 59n would all get you in the ballpark.
