What pickups in a selfbuild guitar?

Y havent got a clue at the moment.

Here,s the deal: strat body made of Mahogany, maple neck with rosewood board, wilkinson trem.

Style : hard rock, blues rock, .

Want: Fullsize humb in bridge and single in mid and neck.

Humbucker will be coil splitted , and my idea is a SH5 combined with stk -s1.
Or is a sh-pg1 as a bridge pu or a sh4 jb a better option combined with other single coils.

Y havent got a clue were to strat. all y know is that the guitar has to have a search and destroy sound when the bridge pu is used , and that y will be able to get me the strat sounds with a bit more oemph when the singles are used.
All have to be very balanced , so that they will form a good team.
In one of my strats the setup is like this: ssl5( bridge) aps2, aps2 ( mid and neck) and they go together perfectly.

Please advise in wich direction to go..
Thanks,

welcome to the forum!!

you say you want search and destroy from the bridge pup, what about the neck and middle?

i think the pearly gates is a great bridge pup to mix with single coils like the aps and ssl1/2 models but depending on your amp it might not have the right crunch for ya

Oh yeh y forgot.

Amps: Marshall 1959slp and DSL50.
Effects: Fulltone Fatboost, OCD, Boss DS1, TS9, Capatain Coconut2 with sunface fuzzcard.

To get me going........

Neck is used to get me the known strat neck sounds like Jimi Hendrix, mid to get a blend between the humbuck switched in single coil mode for typical strat twangs .
