Re: What pickups should I put in a 335 style semi-hollow body guitar?

That's an old picture of mine, Diego.

Those are the Epi Alnico Classic Pro set, after I replaced the slugs, keeper bars, screws and magnet, plus I converted'em to two-con using vintage braided wire. The difference in tone is like comparing the picture quality of a 4K TV against a simple 1280x760 HQ TV.

I'va also changed the harness, making it a Master Volume, Master Tone config, '50s style wiring, as all my other two-HBs guitars.
HTH,
Oh, trust me when I say that the tone of an Epi ES-339 Pro actually CAN be improved.I'll hate it when the day comes I wanna change the pickups in my 339.
For me, it's DAMN HARD to get my head around how to improve it's tone.
I want a bit more of this, a bit less of that, but it's so hard to change pickups and just swap them around in a semi-hollow that I'm supposed to know first-hand that I'll like the swap.
