what pups to buy ?

hey guys i was woundering what pups to drop in my jackson dinky im looking for some nice distortion outta the bridge and nice clean clear tones from the neck. i dont know to much about what to get .... i was looking into maybe a super distortion for my bridge and a breed for my neck.... any opinions or sugesstions would help. thanks

Jazz / JB, or Jazz/Distortion come to mind quickly....

+1 on the Jazz for clear & clean...if you want more low end though the Breed would do it, clean sound & lots o' lows.

never used one - plan to some day - as for which one, eh? Lotsa folks I know used the Dmz one - Frehley in KISS (& probably lots of other hair rockers) but also fusion cats like Al DiMeola

oh and the DUncan distortion neck is COOL..huge huge huge, but nicely defined. Did I say huge? Monster neck pickup...

In Duncan I say the Custom Custom Bridge and Alnico 2 Pro neck.

In Dimarzio is say get the Air Zone and the Virtual PAF Neck/Bridge model (very articulate).

PATB-1 in the bridge, either Jazz or APH in the neck, depending on how much clarity you want in the neck. The Jazz will be brighter and clearer, the APH smoother and more buttery.

The PATB-1 in the bridge will suprise you with it's tone, you may never play annother humbucker in a floyd equipped guitar.

hmmm decisions decisions..... well it will be slowed down a little work is going bad and i gotta find a new job soon...and i have a phone bill coming up too......btw you've opend me up to more ideas.. custom custom and jazz i might do...ill prob just buys some and trade around till i find something i like..... thanks alot guys much appriciated
