Sell the guitar as it is. Spend the proceeds on what you really want. i.e. Something American, exactly tailored to your requirements.

Sell the neck and take the money and order a neck from USA Custom Guitars.

Gut body and gave it routed for a neck bucker.

Drop in new pickups, rewire the control plate and flip it.

Enjoy your new/old guitar.

Cabroniiiita ! Cost less than that lovely mij tele you have. Trade or exchange even . Lots of fun too and better on the dirt - just a bit.
