What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

JOLLY

Super Simonologist
What artist guitar models would you like to see be made? My vote goes for these models:

Gibson "Ted Nugent Byrdland Model".

Gibson Les Paul "Neil Schon Model" with tremelo....although I think that may have been in the works years ago, but nothing ever came about it.

Fender "Keith Richards 1952 Micawber Telecaster Model"

Gibson Les Paul Deluxe "Pete Townshend #5 Model"

Gibson SG "Eric Clapton The Fool Model"

Some type of Rickenbacker "Mike Campbell Model". I think he's worthy of that.

So, how bout you?

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Gibson "Neil Young Model" would be cool.

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Fender "John Frusciante" Strat
"Mike McCready" Gibson Les Paul or Fender Strat *or* Ed Vedder's blue SG.
"Chris Carabbas" Gibson J-200

Good picks Jolly! I'm up for models for Pete Townshend, Keith Richards, and Ted Nugent especially.

Wow... how did I miss that one? I would definitely consider buying a Neil Young model ;)

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Good Call on the Neil Young Model. I'd also like to see Gibson Eric Clapton ES-335 Yardbirds/Cream Model. I just noticed that particular guitar is up for auction as well.

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Paul Kossoff's gold top LP !

Fender "the Keef"

Warren Haynes LP

:32:

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

I'd like to see a PRS Mike Einziger (sp?) Hollowbody SE.

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

How about the Mike Bloomfield Tele or gold top LP
the Gary Moore Samlon pink Strat
the Duane Allman 54' Strat
The Uli Jon Roth Strat ( with the oversized trem arm)

Yeah you nailed it with the Nugent model, I can't believe they haven't done that on yet.

I don't know if I could ever afford it if they made it but a Billy Gibbons "Pearly Gates" would be a dream guitar for me.

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Yeah, I was gonna be the spoil sport here by saying it really doesn't matter because I'll never be able to afford any of them!!!!

The Nugent Byrdland....Man, now there's a ball Gibson didn't even think of catching, nevermind dropping !!!

Ric made a Petty model....but nothing for Mr Campbell??

I thought I either saw an ad or read something about a Neil Schon model but no idea what became of that.

How bout a John Mclaughlin doubleneck with both fingerboards scalloped, or a Robert Fripp LP Custom with Kahler, Sustainer and synth pickups built in.

Seems like I read one time he was approached about that but declined.

Elvis Gibson J-200, Epiphone Version too. Have they ever made Elvis guitars?

I want to see a Willie Nelson Relic.

I second the Billy Gibbons, Paul Kossof, and Mike Bloomfield Les Pauls.
Probably aged "Murphy's" like the Rossington model, would be the type. $$$

I'd like to see Musicman made a "real" version of Steve Morse's
Franken-Tele. Gibson double cream B, lipstick single, aged white strat single,
and backwards Gibson nickel covered neck. Ash Tele body, seventies
rosewood strat neck, and homemade pickguard. Ugly, but cool.

Fender should make a real Steve Cropper Tele. Right now, he's got Peavey making his Teles. :duh:

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Mike McCready Signature Strat would be pretty cool, although I would never buy it, because his is a pretty normal strat, its just that he'd be a good guitarist to be honored like that.

A Gibson Adam Jones Signature Les Paul would be cool too, although I doubt that will ever happen

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Hmmmmmm......after all of these.......maybe an Ibanez Shawn Lane Model (Prolly even exists already) or a Musicman Flea Model.

How many decades behind am I. I mean that, please tell me :)

Re: What Signature Artist Guitar Models Would You Like To Be Made?

Another vote for a Frusiante strat or tele.

Maybe a Joe Strummer tribute Tele? (not very punk, i know)

They made these, they were a limited edition and I am pretty sure they were available from both companies. I have played the Gibson model and it is beautiful but it wasn't much of a plyer, go figure.

How about a Scotty Moore Sig ES-295?
