Hi, first post 
So just bought the above humbuckers to go into a godin xtsa which is HSH.
The godin's body is maple with poplar wings and maple cap, and the neck is mahogany with an ebony board ie quite bright and snappy with the 25.5" scale. The SDs seem ideal to go with the woods used but what single coil to put in the middle?
The godin has a very flat 16" neck radius so staggered poles might be problematic.
I think the custom custom '59 hybrid is one of these, pearly gates
Wiring scheme is still under consideration but it's likely the SC will be used in the in between positions with both full and split humbuckers.
So what would you suggest?
