what size screw for an explorer jack plate?

On Gibson's I've always used pickguard size screws for jackplates and electrics cavity covers too

jack plates can be mounted just fine with pickguard screws. Those are 2.5mm thick I believe, and 12mm long? Kinda.

Gibson pickguard screws size : #3 x 3/8 inch - Phillips head

DiMarzio gold screws are very good quality.
