Btw Jeff Dune, It was worth mentioning because I was also considering getting a head (instead or the traynor 112 combo) and a 212 cab with these two speakers. So thanks to you, now I know that IF I decide to to go with the head, I cannot mix the two speakers in one 212 cab !!

G12H30. Don't even consider anything else. The V 30/G12H30 combo is unbeatable, IMO. Lew

This is one of the combinations that I am currently testing out.

Currently, different combinations:

1) 2X10 closed and 2X10 open into a folded horn.
2) 2X12 closed and 2X12 open in to same folded horn.
3) 4X10 closed cabinet (Bassman)
4) 4X12 closed cabinet (Marshall)

Different manufacturer's speakers and mixed between different speaker types.

So far, this is a hard combination to beat for R&R and blues, but not for jazz.
