What strings and picks are y'all using?

I use Elixir Optiweb .10s and .71 Gator Grips from Dunlop.

I'm sure the tone is great. I just don't think I could deal with how loose 10s would feel in Db.

But on the other hand... perfect 4th bends

For a few years, I've been using a few picks I got from Dragon Picks. My main is 6.7mm and the other 3 are at or close to 6mm. The Westone, Lotus, and HM have D'Addrio 10-46 XLs. The Ibby Pro Line has a set of 9-42s waiting. Then the Epi Explorer has always been strung with Ernie Ball Not So Slinky sets. There was a time where I had a .74 bass string for the low E on the Epi.

For strings I've somehow gone UP to 11s. I've been mostly using 11-49 NYXLs, but my PRS SE Holcomb has a custom 11-54 set of NYXLs. I do have 10-46s on a couple guitars still, and anything with a Floyd is still strung with 9-42 mainly because I haven't changed them in ages, but that may go up with the next string change.

For picks... I've been 3D printing them. The shape is based on the Petrucci Jazz III but a touch different. I've found that I prefer PLA over PETG for both hand feel as well as tone (how they interact with the strings).

D'addario XL 10-46 on my strats, teles and my les paul special, XL 11-49 on jazzmaster, jaguar and mustang.

I've always used Dunlop tortex 1.00, almost 35 years so far

I use whatever is on sale. Ernie Ball are my preference I suppose but D'Addario keeps putting 12 packs on sale for $39.99 so I have quite the inventory of those. I have no issue with those. I used them for many years prior to using Slinky's

Elixir nanowebs for guitar and bass. Standard Fender heavy picks. Although, I also use a stainless steel pick or an Ultex sometimes.

I see Dunlop is the only other company that does a similar 11-56 as D'Addario do.

Almost all string brands are just rebranded from a very small set of factories.

But they all sound different still.
