What strings for my acoustic

Okay, well I've had my acoustic for quite some time now, I play it at least an hour a day. The thing is I haven't broken a string yet since I only play with my fingers on it, so the strings are getting pretty old. So I wanna change the strings but i don't know what gauge they are.... any idea how I can tell? Does it Matter to much If i get a 13> when the old set say was only 12> or would that screw it up to much. Anyway, as for brand can you suggest strings that will last incredinly long and aren't to hard to find at local shops. Price is no problem at all. Something bright with that natrual acoustic twang when you hit a chord. I need the strings to last a month without being replaced and I'll be doing some pretty serious playing in that time, going on a 1 month camp and so I'm planning on working on some stuff.

I'd have to go with Elixers. If I had the money I'd slap a set on my acoustic, but at over 12 dollars a set, I'd rather feed a small country... I use Ernie Ball Earthwood 80/20 Bronze 10s, and I like tham a lot, but elixer gets my vote. They last forever and sound great. Keep on rocking.

For lasting a long time playing with your fingers, I'd go Elixirs for sure. I don't like them because the coating eventually comes off with a pick, but with your fingers they should last and keep a bright, shimmery, grease-free tone for longer than the others.

D'Addario Phosphor Bronzes are a very popular choice.
I got them because there weren't any 80/20's at the shop (80/20's are brighter then the Phosphor Bronzes so they might be what u want)
