What to do wit this neck?

I have a suprisingly nice neck from a plywood 80's Lotus guitar (jackson, charvel copy).

I'd like to use the neck on a nother guitar but the problem is that the neck has a flat end and I cant find any bodies that the neck would fit into.

I thought maybe it would fit into a jackson body but I just looked at some jackson bodies on ebay and they all have rounded neck ends like strats.

I'd love to use this neck on a shred guitar, it already has a locking nut, a crappy one anyway.

please help me out.

A tele with a pointy headstock and a floyd or Kahler would be sweet. Kinda like a Kramer tele from the 80's.

Look at www.warmoth.com. They sell some offset V bodies, albeit with rounded neck pockets. Look at the Showcase section and you should find some discounted bodies there. (They update the info every Thursday). You can have the body or the neck modified to fit together. It should not be that hard - I have done it a few times and the resulting guitars were good. Or you can find a repairman or a luthier who can do it if you don't wanna do it yourself, but it will cost something. Or you can have a body custom-made, but that could be even more expensive.

I have a Tele-style body that once had a Kramer-like pointy neck on it. Not too bad. But the neck had a non-locking nut retrofitted so the string angle behind the nut was pretty crazy - the straight string pull behind the nut is much better.

Just visited www.warmoth.com ... no offset Vs available from the Showcase right now. But at least you can browse the site to get an idea of what you can get.
