what to do...

Re: what to do...

Since you already have the funky Gibson, you should get the funky BC Rich Eagle! Nobody plays them, which is the whole point. Plus, they look like they handle like a PRS McCarty.

I hadn't thought about an Eagle! I was looking at either the Bcih or the Mockingbird...but the Eagle is cool too!

Re: what to do...

It seems to me that you like cool and different pieces of gear based on stuff like your Sound City head and Gibson Moderne.

I'd look at either a Mockingbird, Firebird, or Jazzmaster type body.

You should go firebird or explorer.

well...an Explorer is not on the list (they are cool, and I would like to have one but I know I would never play it), and the only problem with a Firebird is that the pickups I will be using are fullsize buckers, and firebirds use mini buckers...

Re: what to do...

Explorer, not on the list!? Perhaps the list should be amended.:) Set neck through body construction. Sweet, sweet guitars. Silky smooth neck.

then you could point a big ol' The Guy Who Invented Fire logo on it. Besides the Explorer or SG would be the perfect tonal complement to the strat and Tele that you already have.:):);) Maybe the epi Flyin' V you mentioned earlier would do ya?

I always liked the BC Rich Eagle because it's the only BC Rich that comes in a normal body shape, plus the guitar has never been immortalized by a star. It's like the ignored BC Rich, which makes it cooler. I think Paul Stanley's been seen using one once, but that's about it. The Mockingbird is cool too.

Honestly, I would go after that brand new Gibson Firebird Studio. I just saw a picture of Dave Grohl playing one. Basically, a Firebird with a thicker body and 2 humbuckers.

What would be REALLY cool is if you could nab a Gibson MIII Stealth.

Eagles are very cool as are the Firebird Studios! Truth is that I just dig the looks of a Rich Bich.

Explorers, V's, and SG are out for sure...it's not that I don't fig them, but if I get a V or an Explorer it will be Limba and Im not gonna through down that kind of money right now, and SG's are just not my thing.

I just want something kind of different...the Eagle is looking better all the time!
