What to put on my Gibson Flying V?

Gibson Flying V 97' Project Finished!!! - 2019 UPDATE

Just wanted to provide an update on this old thread.
I removed the APH-2 Set, and decided to go with the Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. After testing out the Transition and a PAF Master in the neck, I settled for the PAF Pro.
I'm very happy with the results, and plan to keep it this way.

Just wanted to thank everyone that helped me along the way in this thread.
About the next project, I believe I may be returning to the Duncan realm. I heard a Youtube video of a Les Paul equipped with a SH-6 Duncan Distortion, and that's definitely an iconic tone I'm missing. It was a battle between the SH-5, the SH-6, and the Dimarzio Super Distortion way back in 2011 when I started with guitar modding. I started with the SH-5 in the bridge of my DBZ Bolero, tried the PGn, but replaced it for a 59n'J (PERFECTION). I also have a totally modded Squier with a TB-4, STK-S7, STK-S6 combination. Excellent guitar BTW!

The only guitar I have unmodded is my 2005 Gibson SG Standard. I really don't know if I should replace the pickups there or not, love/hate situation there.
Again, thank you all! This is ''the end of the thread'', but will keep it open to read your replies or if there's another forum member that wants helps with his V.

Re: What to put on my Gibson Flying V?

I've got that exact combo in my Les Paul – sounds awesome! The bridge 59 in the neck just pushes it a little bit further and matches better with the hotter 59/custom in the bridge. Super combo!
