i have recently decided to modify my 62' reissue japanese made jaguar...i have ordered a schaller roller bridge to replace the stock "thing" fender makes
i want to replace the pickups with something a little less thin and squealy (they cannot handle any distorted signal without intense feedback) .....my first consideration was for the "rails" series simply because the rail design eliminates any potential prolblems concerning the different pole spacings of the jag pickup vs. the strat's
the cool rails appeals to me because i want a strat sound with the glass sparkley twang along with a tight but felt bass...and not too compressed....but i am unsure of what to put in the brigde
i want a warm, sparkly strat sound with the ability to rip out some mean, powerful yet articulate and not harsh sounding riffs with no buzz or squeal in the signal
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON BRIDGE/NECK COMBOS THAT WOULD WORK WELL ON MY JAG?
