What tools do I need for a refret?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a cheap neck and trying to learn how to do fretwork. For those of you who are experienced with this, what tools do I need to do a good refretting job? I found this at Stewart MacDonald:

Is there anything else that is necessary or really useful? Those fret benders look pretty useful, how hard is it to accurately bend the frets by hand to match the neck radius? Fretwork is the one repair task that I don't know how to do, so I figure it might be worthwhile to learn. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

You might be in luck buddy, I am getting ready to sell my stew mac videos. I am going to offer them to my fellow forum brothers first. I used all of these videos to learn myself and I am glad I did (I am quite suprised sometimes what I can now do). I would recomend basic fretting by Dan Erlewine. He shows you how to fret and also what kind of tools you need. Thease videos are $50 a piece from stew mac but, I am going to sell mine for $25 a piece plus $5 shipping. I also have Advanced fretting Vol 1 and 2, acoustic maintence and setup vol 1 and 2, Electric guitar and bass maintence and setup vol 1 and 2, neck resetting, hot rod guitar electronics, guitar electronics with Lindy Fralin, Basic inlay techniques, 2 cpoys of fretting basics and 2 copies of maintence and setup for electric guitars and basses vol 1.

I could write you out a whole list that would be useful. I would recomend alot more tools than that to do a good job. As far as bending the frets by hand, It is dffacult to do but, it can be done. At first I got the bending pliers and decided the roller was alot better idea. When you are fretting using a hammer you want to over bend the fret, not match the radius so your fret ends will stay down. I would really recomend a video first. It is a somewhat diffacult job to do right.
