In 2007 when this thread was posted I had crap. But it was the best crap I could find for an apartment.

I currently use a '95 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, had the drive channel modded to sound more like a Mesa, replaced a 12AX7 with a 12AT7, had all of the joints resoldered, upgraded the capacitors and input jacks...the thing just rocks!

Marshall JVM 205C (50w 2x12 combo)

I also have a Laney Cub-10 which is great for blues, but since I don't really play blues anymore, I don't use it.

I use a Fender Princeton Reverb. It's one of the Vintage modified "reissues" though.

Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head into a Marshall 1960A that's half V30's and half G12-T75's.

Live either a 50w JCM900 DR or Mesa MkV depending on my mood, with a H&K Tubemiester 18 as backup into a custom built angled vertical 2x12 w/WGS Et-65 and Veteran 30. At home either the Tubemiester into a Jet City 2X12 or a Marshall SL-5.

Often times, smaller tube amps are the ones I prefer:

Tweeds are very nice to play too!

Not a single top boost channel in sight, it's a shame really.

• Egnater Tweaker 15
• Hughes & Kettner Edition Tube 20

I'm thinking about selling the H&K since I just don't get along with it all that well these days. It's a shame since I just blew $40 on a nice aftermarket footswitch for it.
