When I'm already plugged in, I used the tuner function in my Magic Stomp. Before I got the MS, I used an Akai Tune-o-matic pedal tuner.
When I'm really dialing things in, I use a Peterson Virtual Strobe. It ain't cheap but it's about 30 times more accurate than just about any non-strobe tuner.

Peterson Virtual Strobe....VS1...I need it to be accurate for my setup and intonation work mostly...I pretty much tune by ear after one or 2 strings is in tune...

I lost my cheap Korg, so I use my Yamaha Keyboard to get the E in tune and use my ear for the rest. Or I just adjust to whatever song I'm playing along to, since some songs in the same tuning are slightly off.

Peterson VS-2, pricey but you get what you pay for with this tuner.

The one's that the doctors stapled to the sides of my head at birth.
I haven't really used a tuner is ages, I just adjust my pitch to what everyone else is using and tune the strings to each other by pitch (warble factor here). I've seen some wierd results with mediocre tuners so I no longer trust them, plus if you ears are like our eyes, I'll trust my ears over the silicon guts of these tuners.
Might be the Trombonist in me also

Peterson VS-II, is my main tuner. I also have a very vintage, tube powered Conn ST-2 strobe tuner. I believe the Conn was built in the early 50's. I compared the Conn to my VS-II, and it's still dead on, but the VS-II is easier to use, and the display is easier to see.
