What type of glue for gluing in a nut?

Hey guys, I'm going to install an Earvana nut on my new Warmoth Strat neck, what type of glue do luthiers typically use for gluing in a nut? Is Titebond wood glue acceptable, or should I use something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wood glue is the wisest choice IMO, but I use Crazy Glue :smack:

Would glue doesn't stick to the synthetic nuts very well. Its OK on a strat style where ther is support on both sides but I generally use 2 drops of super glue. It aint what everyone says to use but wood glue just doesn't work on the synthetic nuts I use.

I use, Super Glue.

I use #20 medium cyanoacrylate instant adhesive from stew mac.

I used Elmers carpenter wood glue to attach new graphite nuts in my SG's. Worked great for me...

I'd use Superglue, but only add two little drops, so you can still break the nut free.
If you use too much, you'll make it difficult to remove without potentially screwing up the wood or finish around it.

A drop of elmers, wood glue, or super glue. Whichever bottle happens to be closest

We use one small dot of super glue here.

Super glue here too. Just a touch, though.
