What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

I'd like to see a Strat sized version of the Custom Shop alnico 2 Tele Hot offered as a standard item.

I think a lot of the single-sized humbuckers would do well added to the tele bridge line. I mean, you can only do so much with hot rails, '59 and stacks.

A 10K PAF. I definitely would love to see the Brobucker as a standard item.

And

What Lew said (but with a5 magnet rods :D ).

One other product I would love to see and it might be an indusrty first, would be a neck bucker designed for a 24 fret axe that sounds like a bucker in a 22 fret axe. I personally would not mind a 24 fret axe but, I hate the way the neck pickup sounds in them due to the pickup being alot closer to the bridge than normal.

Seems like it would be a wonderful idea to me and possibly a good seller.

I can relate to that, I love the cool rails in the neck of a 22 fret (my favorite neck sound), I wish I could get that same sound in a cool rails for a 24 fret.

it would be cool if they made dog ear versions of the standard production line P-90s as well as soap bars...dog ear P-90s just look so much cooler.

uhh.....I thought you can get dog ear covers for them or something? Or get them in a dog ear version.

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

Seems like we are on to something with the 24 fret neck bucker. I knew this was going to be a hell of an idea. I dont think anyone else makes one. SD could corner the market with one. There are alot of 24 fret axes out there and I bet alot of folks dont like the tone out of the neck.

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

I want a pickup that can be used as a close combat weapon in the ussr

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

Duncan (too many companies are missing this one) needs a gold foil Teisco pickup. I have no idea why nobody has one.

Also a Valco string thru bridge lap steel pickup.

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

Cool Rails for Tele set, 10k PAF, a hot Phat Cat for the bridge, and the option of having alnico mags in the Rails and Lil series 'buckers would be nice.

Re: What type of pickups/producrs do you think the SD line is missing?

I would like a humbucker that when split has the same output as when not split. This would probably not be easy, but still, I would appreciate having it with the music I play.

it doesn't say anything on the site about being available in dog ear covers...hence the names Vintage SOAPBAR, Hot SOAPBAR, and Custom SOAPBAR.
