What wire to use?

I am completely re-wiring my guitar. This is my PRS Tremonti SE.

1. Should all wire used be shielded, or just some wires? If just some, which ones?

2. The guitar was wired with what appears to be aluminum instead of copper wire. Does it matter? I suspect that copper is beter. What do you think?

3. Where do I buy the wire that I need? I looked at Radio Shack and they did not have it. I don't need much, so buying large spools of wire is no good for me.

4. How do I know what sizes of wire to use?

5. What free on-line wiring guides can you recommend?

6. Where can I get a wiring diagram for my PRS. PRS did not have one on line.

1- on long runs of wire you should use shielded wire, on short runs it doesnt matter that much

2- the wire you use will have minimal effect, any decent wire will work

3- no idea, im surprised radio shack didnt have any wire

4- almost anything will work, maybe something around 30 awg?

5 & 6 - no idea
