As far as power tools go, it would be ideal to have a router and a router table that accepts it, table saw, miter saw, drill press, planer, jointer, random orbital sander, quarter sheet orbital sander, and oscillating spindle sander. You can get by without several of these things if you are good with hand tools, and you invest quite a bit more patience and elbow grease in your project. But having all this makes things nice and easy.
