I've never actually heard an Invader, but from what everyone describes, I'd think it was pretty close.

From owning both and having them in nearly identical axes.... Invader is thicker and more aggressive....

if you want the hotrails sound get two of them and install them in a humbucker-slot. This way you have two pups and probably more fun.

Very nice, hard rock sounding pup. Although I haven't tested the neck version yet and they're quite far apart DC wise...
