ok all...im in a jam. i have a short window to trade in my mesa single recto for an older 2 channel dual tremoverb. im really thinking i should do it. the only things holding me back are:
1. i only have a 2x12 to run it through. my single rec. is a 1x12 combo, so i always run that and my 2x12.
2. the tremoverb doesnt have that solo boost...which i ****ing love. i guess i could just set one channel a notch or two louder. and sound check with my volume knob at like 3/4 or something. i just am hesitant - one of my buddies swears my current amp has this "mojo" to it, he said its just got this vibe to it...told me if i trade it, offer him to him first so when i get the tremoverb i can remember what im missing...(lol thanks asshole!)
i dont know what to do...what would you guys do?
edit: one of my favorte things about my single rec combo, is that its fairly simple and straightforward. and i ****in love the solo volume boost. but i do find myself wishing i had another switchable channel (mainly that vintage channel which i can toggle between w/o an EQ adjustment and volume adjustment back at the amp)
