What would you want to see out of a tap tempo mod?

Hey everybody. I've been working on modifying the tremolo on my friend's wurlitzer to be tempo modifiable with tap tempo capabilities. The hope is to turn this into an LFO generator. Here's my list of features that I'd like to see and I was wondering what features you've liked in tap tempo capable pedals you've worked with in the past.

1. The tap tempo button is a touch sensor (basically just a metal plate)
2. MIDI Clock input to work with a DAW/synchronous tempo environment
3. Two taps minimum for tempo, any further will be averaged. The Average will no longer be taken if a click is more than a full quarter note in tempo
4."Click" LED that pulses with the tempo

Any thoughts? Currently I'm only doing a sine wave LFO, does anyone have a preference/enjoy triangle/saw/square wave tremolos?

Any feedback is appreciated

I really like the latest Disaster Area tap box that will send a Tap to multiple pedals through traditional analog methods and through MIDI clock for Strymon/Eventide/etc. usage.

Thanks for the replies ya'll. The disaster area tap box is a good reference point. Seems like a nice box. Also square wave is definitely going to happen as its the easiest to implement digitally. I've got sine wave and triangle/sawtooth would be simple as well. I'm thinking about just installing a MIDI synchronized tremolo in the wurlitzer and make a box that sends MIDI seperately.
