Owned one once. The most beat up pedal I had. I did a research about that whole MIJ thing. As far as I know, it doesn't change a thing for the GE-7, unlike the Ds-1 (to name just that one). It is related to the component used back in the days. From I've read at least

I'd say $80 shipped is fair.
In my experience, the Japanese GE-7's are far less noisy than their Taiwanese counterparts. This is especially important if you run EQ in the effects loop.
Unfortunately I already have a GE-7 I never use. Good luck with your sale.

Yeah, I read about some mods while doing a little researching on pricing for one of these.
I really have no need for it- back when I bought it in the late 80s, I thought I needed it, but what I really needed was some fundamental changes in the gear I was using i.e. nothing an EQ could help. I generally just used it as a lead boost, with the EQ flat.
I guess I'll throw it up on the bay, if no-one here wants it.
