For value depends on the car and the guitar...some cars are more more than guitars and some guitars are worth more than cars...

I tend to like the blues and the greens.

The reds, not so much.

Although I'd love to have a Shell Pink Strat.

There are those who say Fender never sprayed a Strat that color, and that the Shell Pink Strats we've seen are actually red Strats that have faded to pink.

I dunno. I like it though.

Kenny Vaughan used to have an old one when he lived in Denver and played around here and I always lusted after that Shell Pink 50's Strat of his.

Not completely on topic, but I love love love the vintage Fender colours! I honestly can't think of a single one that I wouldn't want on a guitar.

I can't pay for cars so I pay for guitars. Im not even ambitious; I don't want a supercar. I would sacrifice every musical instrument I own for a slightly modified pre- 1974 BMW 2002 or 1600, or a bunch of other similar cars.

In the end, I can collect many guitars, collecting many cars would require me to "collect" junkers.
