I'm thinking of making my '04 Standard Telecaster into an Esquire with only a single Little 59 bridge pickup and a single volume knob. First i'd like to know if anyone has wired a guitar this way and how is it done? Second, would the stock Mexican volume pot hold up fine, or would a new aftermarket volume pot help my tone and/or output at all? Thanks!
