What’s the best bridge humbucker at 250k in a Strat?

Hi, this forum has been super helpful on my previous questions!
Thanks!!! My issue is I have another HSS strat and want to keep the pots at 250k on this guitar. What’s the suggested full size bridge humbucker that sounds best at 250k. Thanks again!

The single coil sized humbuckers are mostly designed to be used with 250k pots, hot rails, cool rails, little '59 etc.
I've also seen people on here recommend JBs and Pearly Gates for full size humbuckers with 250ks. I think mine have been with 250K pots when I've used them in a HSS strat style guitar and I never had any issue with those two.

There may be some more, but I believe most people seem to prefer 500K pots for other full size humbuckers.

For HSS and 250k you generally want to go with a vintage output humbucker in the bridge to balance volume and tone wise with the single coils. If you have hot neck and middle singles you can go to a medium output hb bridge. It's possible to use a hot hb in the bridge but you have to drop it and it will be darker. So in general you go with a vintage output hb like the 59 or pearly gates.

Well, considering the JB was designed to be used with 250K pots..... That would be my recommendation.

i find most lower wind pups sound good with 250k, and the jb does as well like others said. what kind of tone do you want from the bridge bucker? do you want output or tonal balance with the singles?

If you only have a volume pot wired to it, it's going to see the same resistance as it would with a 500k volume and 500k tone. Really the most important detail is what type of sound you're getting, and why your amplifier setup can't get that sound with your current pickup.

The Jazz, Full Shred and even the 59 are worth looking into. But why have that limitation? You can always run a 500k volume pot, a 250k tone for the singles, and 500k tone for the humbucker.
