Well most people say that there is no difference, I clearly hear it in my AOR, to me 4 ohms are tighter across the bass, not muddy at all, I have not tried 8 ohms because its stereo, and I dont have the second amp to run stereo mode. But 16 ohms sound is more rounchy with price of some mud and sound way too dark to me.

All else being equal, the lower ohm setting will sound brighter (or maybe tighter). However the most important thing it to make sure the amp setting matches the cab.

Dude, you are the second person who've ever agreed with on this, great to hear I am not imagining things. And yes make sure you ohms selected on the amp are equal to ohms on the cab, its ok to run with ohms higher on the amp but there is conflicting openions on that, and definately DO NOT run higher ohms setting on your cabs than amp, unless you want your amp/head to look like Ace's less paul.
