i ordered a duncan antiquity II neck, ant. I texas hot bridge, and a rw/rp ant II middle for strat. i had it in my mind which pickup was the rw/rp middle, and the regular neck. it told me on the box, and i remembered which one i opened. then i heard with rp pickups, you put the pole-pieces facing eachother, and if they attract, its rp. i tried this, and it turns out that what i thought the neck pickup was, attracts both the bridge and "middle" pickups. so i placed what i thereafter believed was the right pickups in place. but i took a glance at the wires, and looking at them with the pickguard upside- down, the middle and bridge pickups have the white wire coming out of the right side and the black wire coming out of the left side, but the neck pickup has it reversed...... WHATS GOING ON HERE?
let me reiterate i guess, because the above post might be too long for lazy people (including myself) to read. right now i have ant II surfers in both middle and neck, and a texas hot ant I in bridge. the pickup in the middle attfacts to both others when i place polepices togehter, but the one in the neck seems to have the reverse wiring. so should i leave it as is, switch middle and neck, or what?
