it's called "how to make your electric guitar play great!" he also wrote "guitar player repair guide" which is supposed to be a good book too. you can get them from stew mac or any book stores or amazon.

"Guitar Player Repair Guide" has some great stuff in it and lives in my work bag for light reading while in transit...

I bought How to Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great first, then ended up needing the Guitar Player Repair Guide for detail on cutting nuts, finishing, etc. Just go ahead and get the second one GPRG - it covers everything!

BTW you save a bunch going to Amazon or Barnes & Noble versus StewMac for buying the book.

You may also want to visit Frets.com for great info on setups, making nuts, saddles, diagnosing BUZZZZZ, and lots more.

The Musical Instrument Makers Forum has a ton of info too. Not the friendliest place on the planet though.

Hope this helps.
