Whats wrong with my cry baby??? help me out

Today I was playing and switched on my cry baby and it cut the signal and I could here nothing. So I checked all the cables and my onespot ac adapter and it all woked fine, so I put a 9v battery in it and all I could hear was a very faint woop sound that got higher pitch as I went back and forth on the pedal. This has never happened before and yeserday when I stopped playing I unplugged all the cables from the wah???? does anyone know whats wrong with it???

I'm gonna say just leave it for a while. I sort of had a similar problem when I tried running it in reverse aka, plugging the input into the output and vice versa cuz supposable it was suppose to acheive on the rage solos sounds. Well that solo wasn't silent, thats for sure. I just came back like 2 days later and it worked.

make sure the cables are going in the right places. somehow i kept plugging em in the wrong way for about 3 months, and just as i was about to buy a new one i realized it was plugged in wrong haha

Lately, the new Crybabys seem to have a number of intermittent glitches-- could be the pot or the infamous sticky switch. I went to Vox and I've been quite happy. I like the Crybaby, but the Vox is a little more "vocal" which is what I'm looking for these days.

i have the most embarrasing cry baby story ever.

i got one, it was awesome! untill i stepped on it real hard, and it stopped wahing.

so i took it back to the shop and they exchanged it.

i went back home, wahing away, and then stepped on it by accident whilst clambering through all the junk in my room... i heard a click so i thought "oh crap i've bust it again!".

so i took it back to the shop and asked for a new one.

the guy recognised me and went "what the hell are you doing to these pedals!??" chuckling away and asked if he could try my pedal to check if it wasnt my leads or anything

i assured him both my leads were working fully.

so he plugs in, rocks back and forth, sure enough. no wahing.

then he leans his foot forwards, and i hear the pedal clunk like it did at home.. and it started wahing.

he then went "you do know theres an on/off switch at the front dont you".

i'd never gone so red in my whole life!
