What's you guitar / car equivalent?

One of the sexiest cars ever built. It's got serious class & I love the color. I'm partial to the car though. . I don't think it would matter what color.

The Firebird Esprit in that exact color was my first car in high school. And the honeyburst Les Paul was my first real guitar I bought after high school. (Took me 3 years to pay it off.)

I had two as my first and second legal car, a 75 formula 350 that was completely redone, painted fire engine red and a 73 455 that was a complete rust bucket, white with blue stripes, it got gallons per mile. If I knew then what I know now, I would have rebuilt the 73 instead of the 75.

Mine was a 350 and got 7 miles to the gallon. I thought that was normal. But gas was less than $1.50 a gallon at the time.

Kramer Baretta 1988: Bright, eye-grabbing colour, instantly and eminently dateable and not a little dated, built for speed and excess and probably not ideal for much else. (Besides, isn't "having the keys to the Ferrari" a term for shredding?)

Right now my main squeeze is a pretty modified Stratocaster so the only thing I can really equate it to is a Mustang. Just for the fact that both have been in production for so many years , and the new models are still as totally recognizable as a Stratocaster\Mustang's very first model.

But my actual taste in cars couldn't be further from my guitars , I guess. I drive a modern, lowered Honda civic with rock hard suspension and aero kit:oo

I'm stuck in a 90's time warp. Bought my house in 1996, my work Truck is a 95 Dodge Dakota, my DD is a m119 4 valve V8 powered 95 E 420 Mercedes, Own a Mesa Subway Rocket and a Carvin X50 Head from the 90's plus over half of my guitars are from the 90's. Here is my 95 Washburn USA MG 120 and my 95 Mercedes E420 as examples. Both were extreme in what they are at the time but few understand what they are now nor gave them the time of day then. Both when folk experience them first hand blow folk away with their performance. 1995 in particular for me was a very good year!
PS 95 was also when I was writing music for and out on the road with this band.
