What’s you tuner pedal?

Used a TU-2 for years but have had the Polytune mini for a couple years now and I like it. Still accurate, small, and nice for that quick strum check to see if I'm at least close lol.

I use a Korg Pitchblack. Before that it was a TU-2.

I could probably go to a Polytune variant if i needed to but i see no need to change right now.

Used to use a PolyTune and before that a Planet Waves Chromatic. These days it's a clip-on at rehearsals and at home. At gigs I have a Korg GA-Custom tuner that I connect to from the effects loop send on my amp. I simply turn the amp down while tuning if need be. That's way old school, but it works for me. The less on the floor in front of me the better.

I am using a BOSS TU-12H for 36 years or more... When it got stolen I got the same one again...

But your wife's present I would recommend something with newer technological developments : the danish TC Electronic Polytune 3.

Cool gift from your wife
and good thread also.

Korg Pitchblack Poly. Been using it for 6 or 7 years now, always worked fine.

I use a KORG now. I was using an older model Fender but the #/b indicator was getting too hard to read with my aging eyes.

Sonic Research Turbo Tuner
D’Addario Tuner
Korg Pitchblack Portable

I’m ordinarily a Boss guy, but I buy tuners used off eBay or Reverb. The TU-3 holds its resale value really well, so I find the Korg Pitchblack is a better deal. I thing its quality is just as good as Boss. I have two of the regular Pitchblack model and a newer “mini” version. I get on fine with the standard one-string-at-a-time models, haven’t tried the poly ones.

Yeah, I think I’m going to tell her the Polytune 3......and an OCD. She going there this weekend, she’s been baking cookies all day today and yesterday. Do we really need 18 dozen cookies? Probably not, but damn the house has been smelling good.

Do you really need another dirt box? Probably not, but damn the noise sounds good.

Need’s got nothin’ to do with it. :lmao:

Planet Waves Tru Strobe pedal tuner and Boss TU-3.

The PW is super accurate and whatnot, but damn, it's fiddly! Not good for quick on-stage tuning.

I'm not huge on the buffer in the Boss because it kinda thins the tone out, but the pedal is a lot faster and more practical for fast tuning.

I use a Korg pitchblack simply because I found it keep
I use my phone if the battery dies on my Korg.

Turbo tuner on main board (love it) and I have 2 Polytune Black lights, 1 on small guitar board and 1 on my bass board. For set ups I have a Peterson VSll desk top tuner.

Re: What’s you tuner pedal?

I've been using the same old Boss TU-2 for many years, it's a tank. And I have an ancient Conn Strobtuner on my workbench at home if I really wanna see what's going on.
