What’s your favorite pedal brand?

Use whatever criteria you like. I considered saying JHS because I like the way Scott connects with his audience, but I can’t go that way without ever having played a JHS pedal. Most of my board is full of MXR stuff, but my nod goes to Wampler. He markets himself in the same way as Josh, and his pedals sound phenomenal.

I’m going to go with EHX. Two of my favorite pedals are the Deluxe Memory Man and Big Muff. And it’s the only pedal company I have T-shirts of so I guess that means something.

My Keeley modded Blues Driver is one of my favorites. Also a fan of "build your own." But for naming one manufacturer, it has to be Seymour Duncan. My SFX-01, Twin Tube Classic, and Palladium, are all keepers. I've also had, and loved, the Powergrid and Tweak Fuzz

(Gotta get my Klon Klone into a case.) :banghead:

Boss overall because I like so many of their analog and digital models, plus they have the best switch ever IMO.

If Boss would just redo their entire line with the buffer-bypass switch on the outside like their Waza Tuner.

Homebrew Electronics. Even though they are no longer in business, they built some incredible pedals. I've had a few of them for more than 15 years of regular use and gigging and they still work and sound like they did when I bought them.

Also a big BYOC fan. My current board that I use for recording guitar is like, 75% BYOC builds and modified versions of their boards and kits.

Visual Sound had that award hands down before they changed to TrueTone. Those switches should be on every pedal ever made. Again, just a thought. Not that I have a strong opinion on the matter.

Never tried one. You mean like on the Jekyll/Hyde?
Those look like you would have to have your heel up off the ground because of being so thick and square,,,,,,but again i've never used one.

Huh. Every pedal that I've currently got on my board was built by a different manufacturer. :P

I've owned probably more Boss pedals than any other brand over time, but few really stuck with me. Great switching and awesome housing though. EHX stuff can be kooky/great, but the build quality was always subpar. MXR/Dunlop lie about everything being true bypass, which always cheesed me off.

Fulltone, Empress Effects, JHS, and Xotic have all impressed me with quality and reliability for the stuff I've purchased from them.

The one I used to use was an H2O. No thicker than any other pedal on my board. The switch just touches softly and engages without a real click, but you know you got it turned on.

OK, well that is just like the TC 2-versions, like on my HOF2. They have the mash included but the on-off is baby soft. I much prefer the standards with the easy click. It's softer than a basic MXR but does have a click.

More than either of them I prefer the beautiful Boss clank.
The Maxon 9-series feel super nice, but those are also not hard to miss with.

Mad Professor for me–not had a bad experience with any pedal of theirs. Currently really loving the Twimble (their Simble Predriver and Overdrive in one pedal) and Silver Spring Reverb for my Bassbreaker as it gives me the classic Fender reverb. Wish I never sold my Sky Blue Overdrive nor Ruby Red Booster. MP pedals just always hit right to my ears.

I don't have any sort of loyalty to any one brand. Back in the day it would have been Boss when they were definitely the leaders in quality and tone. But these days there's so SO many extremely high quality pedal makers out there. I think we're in the golden age of effects right now.

I'll say that this year I've bought three Strymon pedals having no previous experience with them and my god do they have it going on.
