What’s your favorite pedal brand?

Boss it is.
One MXR CAE MC-401, one Mooer acoustic sim, all the rest Boss: tuner, overdrive, chorus, tremolo, delay, Reverb, looper. Love them.

1. Dunlop/MXR- For their after sales product support & customer support. Made Timmy accessible worldwide for cheap. Wish they made a few optical wahs.

2. Visual Sound/Truetone- High quality buffer design and a clever use of DPDT switching that lasts longer than boss.

3. Boss- Durability, variety of pedals, best practical design of a footswitch with gigs in mind.

4. Tech21- Sansamp tech made my life happier.

5. EHX- for strange fx

Those are my favs.

You know, I compartmentalize stuff daily easily (My FAVORIOTWE guitar player vs the player I think is BEST)

But at the end of the day, I have like 17+ Boss pedals. And honestly, they make a damn fine product.

Yeah - I dig Wampler a lot.
Yeah - Ibanez has some favorite pedals.
Yeah - I use the crap out of a few EHX pedals.
Yeah - I have a few boo-teeny wonder pedals.

But I just freaking like Boss.

If I were to have one pedal brand across my entire board, it would be MXR followed closely by BOSS. I would also put Eventide at the top of the list.

Tech21, Origin, MXR, Boss, Eventide, Archer, Greer, too many to name or decide.

But I know my least favorite. EHX.... Their digital pedals sound great but way are too noisy. -terrible S/N ratios

I feel like they need a better PCB designer -their people are seem too focused on the circuit itself and neglect things like trace path, flux and crosstalk etc etc in the layout.

I swear that EHX digital clock noise will drive you mad.

Strymon makes the best sounding devices I've heard in pedal format. Wampler, Keeley and others run pretty close seconds, however.

It’s my favorite brand and I’ve never had that issue with their digital pedals but I don’t really choose them for their digital pedals :)

Deluxe Memory Man, Big Muff, Electric Mistress, Bad Stone, Small Clone should keep you busy and happy within the analog realm.

Ive never had anything but great experience with their classic analog stuff.

I bought a lot of EHX when I was younger because they were affordable. But once I tried MXR, DOD, and ROSS, I never looked back. I also find EHX to be very noisy.
