Very nice SFW. I have a '59 set in my 2000 Les Paul Classic and I don't detect any muddiness under gain in my little Blackstar. The '59 set seems to handle many types of music and do them all fairly well IMHO.

That is a really tough question to answer, depending on my mood or song I want to write/play. TBH, my default is a stock blacktop Strat. All bases covered very, very well with the axe and pups. If the occasion arises, I reach for different tools.

Duncan Broadcaster bridge - very versatile, covers rock, country, blues, almost anything I need to do.

Seth set - covers all the early legendary Gibson sounds for me
