Definitely the standard, but a nice "not too fancy" looking custom doesnt fall that short.

I have a a real nice 2003 wine red Studio, so that gets my vote.
I like the LP Standard meets LP Junior vibe and the price, and I wouldn't want anything heavier or thicker. Now, I did play an R7 Goldtop recently that was real light and real nice, but I'm not quite sure it was twice as nice for twice the price, especially since I favor Teles anyway.
