What's Your Recommendation on a Smooth, Warm, Transparent OD?

Re: What's Your Recommendation on a Smooth, Warm, Transparent OD?

Please share a link to the Tim. I've heard a lot about them, but never could find out a way to learn more! I don't even know who makes them ... (Paul Cochrane?)

You have to actually call him on the phone Monday through Friday between 7 and 8 pm his time...I've called 3 times in the poast few weeks, left 2 messages and still have gotten no call back...

Hey man....where are you located?

I'm not getting any bites on my Mudhoney & it might be something you'd like....it can be very smooth & fairly transparent, but it can also soar with the touch of the boost button. OR if you want a little added fuzz, you've got that too.

Check this site & see if it's something you might be interested in:

As a disclaimer, the clips really don't do the pedal justice. Ask Gearjoneser...he uses one too, but I think more for a fuzzy boost to his Klon.

I'll send it to you to try. If you want it, fine......if you don't, just ship it back. That way, you're only out the shipping fee.

Just an idea...........

That's very nice of you...let me think about it for a while before I create a potential hassle! But again, my gratitude.

There's not a link, he doesn't have a website, you have to call him. He's super nice. You can check out www.thegearpage.net as Curly mentioned, people talk (and rave) about it a lot over there.
GuyWIF, keep trying, it's worth it! Make sure you call around 7 Central time. I don't think he would ever neglect a customer intentionally. I think he just gets busy. Again, he couldn't be any nicer.

So, the Tim is a super transparent low-gain overdrive/boost? Anything else I should know? (Hopefully, yes...)

PS...please PM me Paul's #.
