What's your "secret weapon" pedal

Re: What's your "secret weapon" pedal

It's a three-way tie:

Analog Man Bi-CompROSSor
Keeley Time Machine Boost
Emmett Brown Flux Capacitor

Re: What's your "secret weapon" pedal

My "secret weapon" pedal is my Boss ME-50, which is my only pedal. It's a multieffects, and if I need a "stomp this" setting, I set the non-memory mode up to be Boss BD-2 blues driver distortion on high volume. The only other thing I really "stomp" into is the volume to put it in wah mode. Other than that, my memory mode is usually Blues - Metal - Chorus for the three memories on bank 1. I am wanting to get a SD pickup enhancer or whatever it is, just so I have a "lead" stomp to boost volume. If I had to pick a pedal to only boost volume, however, and didn't have a multieffects, I'd probably go with a blues driver BD-2 with the volume all the way up. Just my 2 cents....

It wouldn't be secret anymore then would it?

I don't really use many pedals but I would really like one of the Carl Martin Surf Vibe pedals I saw recently.

It has changed over the years. It used to be an old blue MXR 10-band EQ that I used to warm up the front end of a SUNN Solos II SS 212 combo.

These days, it's a DOD FX10 Preamp that is the first pedal in the chain on my board. Just a little extra treble, and a little bit of boost always on to "reclaim" some signal loss on the way to my amp. A very sneaky little pedal that no one knows about.

Ooops!

Didn't read my post didja ;)

I called it the bifet preamp though.
