Where are all the Duncan amps at..?

I expected to see more posts about these things...

I had an 84-40 2x10 model back in 1990. Fun amp. Sold it to my cousin who still uses it.

I don't think they sold too many of them. I've only seen one ever and I'm pretty sure it was at SD in Santa Barbara.

This. It's hard to break into new markets. Dean Guitars' fairly good pickup line is having a hard time catching on and their basses have never sold all that well, Framus's guitar line hasn't done that well (but their father company, Warwick, seems to do pretty well with basses), Ovation electrics never caught on, et cetera...

They weren't all Convertable models - the 84-40 I had was like an AC30 meets Vibrolux Reverb kinda thing. There was an 84-50 too, not sure what else.

I remember the EQ on it was really touchy and interactive which I came to loathe, but like I said my cousin is still using it over 20 years later.
