Where can a guy from Europe get some parts cheap?

I'm guessing this should be more for those bros from this side of the pond but if you know, don't be shy to share ;)

I've been searching for some parts for the final touch-ups on my Swing superstrat.

(click the image for a 1024x768 photo).

Basically what I want is:
  • A Tremol-No (the pin-version - AllParts part # BP-2005-010),
  • A pair of WOODEN (looking) pickup rings in the color and grain of my guitar's Ebony top for a direct-mount look (hence the photo above, for comparison).
Logically, apart from Ebony (obviously) Rosewood and Walnut should look good.
  • A pair of Cream + a pair of thin chrome metal pickup rings (in case the wooden ones don't look all that good after all :9:)
In both cases, the bridge pu-ring should accommodate a trembucker.
  • All the necessary screws (8 for the rings plus 4 for the pickups)
  • A non-locking nut that is a direct replacement for a 1-11/16 direct-mount locking-nut slot.
Preferably uncut, if it is pre-cut preferably let it be for the "wide" - 1-7/16" (36.5mm) E to E string spacing and 15.75" (400mm) radius.
  • A black Gotoh locking nut (with the above specs) in case the non-locking nut experiment fails.
Fast and secure shipping to Europe (well, Greece in my case) is certainly a plus.
BEING in Europe is a BIGGER plus (since there'll be no VAT/tax)

However, having all the parts I want CHEAP will be the deciding factor :9:

Are you aware of a cheap AllParts distributor that ships to Europe?
Maybe another online wholesaler/retailer that can get me what I want from various sources.
Perhaps there's a forum bro that can set a fellow brother up?

Please go right ahead :)

these guys are very well regarded amongst the UK guys for prices and free shipping to UK.. if you can find what you want here, i can heartily recommend them on like 4/5 counts :)

they ship to the EU as well, i think you may need to email for a quote though!

+1

Their website looks really dodgy but I got my first Duncans from there for a knock down price. I've since ordered pickguards and other bits and bobs for various projects and their shipping has always been fast as well as free :)

Re: Where can a guy from Europe get some parts cheap?

Thanks man, I sent then an e-mail, we'll see if they can help :)

Anyone else?
Either US-based that ships internationally or EU based should do fine.

Yeah, I found their site difficult to navigate but since I sent them a mail with the exact parts I wanted no prob ;)

Thanks Lu B!

Thanks man, I sent them both an e-mail.

WDMusic answered a couple minutes later saying they don't have those items... :(

Dude,

get em from a store in the states and tell them to ship USPS thats all and they will get here quick and they wont go through customs either. If the price is over 100$ tell them to mark it down. No hassle. i do it all the time.

plus you will save on the dollar/euro difference

cheers

(to tone?)

Hahum :9:
Ok:

Yes
Not sure but don't think so, I think Andreas said they'd arrive late September to October
AMAZING
Yes
Yes, with an Ebony top :D

More about it HERE and HERE

In short though, while I was at Kourbis for Andreas to install Sperzels to my Strat I picked up one of the Swings there and saw that it fit my hands like a glove.
Everything was, for me, spot on: neck back contour and thickness, fretboard, string spacing/nut width, everything.
But, pretty much everything on it except for the wood was cr@ppy (but hey, for 300€ even that was pretty amazing).
So I bought it (well, not that exact one, another one, his last one in fact :D) and after a couple of months when I saved some more money I upgraded everything on it in one go.
I put Sperzel locking tuners on it, a Gotoh Floyd (my personal favorite), all-new electronics (including two DiMarzio push/pulls) and a Suhr Aldrich and a Tom Anderson H3 pickups (which two alone cost 300€).

All in all, when I went to get the guitar I met a VERY satisfied Andreas and a more or less stunned Panagiotis with the results.
It turned out all of the upgrades were spot on, the guitar now feels, plays and sounds phenomenal (and BTW, the Aldrich is THE ultimate pickup for splitting, best neck tone EVER).

Haven't put it down since :D

Do not buy from europe, buy from the states. It's less expensive and all items are small, 99% you won't pay custom fees. Google every item and find the best prices yourself. Avoid banzai, he has a reputation of being very... slow with orders! Avoid AllParts UK too.

USPS is very important for not pay custom fees. Cargo companies pass every package through customs and they charge a lot.

The best service on planet earth. They've got almost everything on guitar parts.

Ships with DHL which cares for all your customs, delivers to your door.

Because of the weak dollar, you'll save a lot of money on everything.

You can take my word for it. I use'em all the time. Never failed me, not once in two years that I deal with'em.

HTH,

I built my #1 tele out of axesrus parts - I also use WD UK music parts.

The problem is that the main part I want is the Tremol-No and that's sold exclusively from AllParts (and their dealers) and I doubt Stew Mac would well an AllParts item...

I'm still waiting from axesrus, WD answered first saying that they don't sell AllParts stuff... :(
