Where can I buy David Allen Voodoo 69's?

I found a link via Google and says they're available, but they're not technically on his site if you were to go directly through the current offerings.

Upon reading the description, I think this will fit my style perfectly -- SRV and Jerry Garcia referenced in the description!

The Echo's look to be a different beast and I'm not going for a Gilmour tone. The StratCats are my second choice.

Try emailing them to sort out the issue. They'll probably sell you a set if you ask.

I never understood someone like him making an “Echoes” set when the pickups are literally available from Fender and Duncan.

I bought mine off Ebay about a year ago. Don't remember the sellers name though.

srv and jerry have very different tones from pretty different guitars

cause he doesnt make money when fender or duncan sell pups?

But why would anyone buy them? The closest they could be would be direct copies for more money.

Then again people buy JHS pedals so there you go.

Strats used to be made from alligators? I'm not familiar with the Alligator Strat Era either. Time to make google my friend again.

The last I heard David was having some serious medical issues, and his business is a two man show with just he and his brother. Another guy that knows him on the Strat-Talk board said he spoke with him recently and he would be back at work soon. How long is soon? I don't know. I do know that his pickups are exceptional. I have three sets, two single coil, and one humbucker set. They are amazing. When I have dealt with his in the past he is normally very accessible and you can get him either on the phone, or he usually returns emails promptly. Very easy do deal with. If you want a set he no longer makes, he will make that set for you. Also, in the past he sold loaded pickguards that were a great value. He used top shelf components and had quick connect options. I have noticed those are no longer on his site. If you call him I would ask if that's an option. You open the package and slap it on your strat; and you are good to go. Good luck. Post a clip when you have them. I've been planning a big headstock Strat project, and those are the pickups I wanted to use.

The problem is he’s not responding to calls or emails. And I can’t purchase online past add to cart. REALLY WANT A SET OF VOODOO 69!!
