Its just they are quite expensive in my local shop, they are cheaper for me to buy on the US eBay but I'm sure if you buy them in a bigger bulk they must be cheaper, i seem to get through so many and would be good to order a big bulk and just stash loads for future haha.

musicians friend has them for $3.99 12 pack i got scared and just ordered 10 packs.
if they didnt discontinue well i'm stocked up on picks for a while. glad i got a musiciansfriend card.

How much do those 2mm graphites cost? Does it leave marks on your hand like the graphite in a pencil? How big of a bulk order constitutes bulk for items like this? 144 (gross)?

i honestly cant remember the price off hand...they arent too cheap though and yeah, when they are new they do rub off on your hands a little. i also dont know what constitutes bulk for an order directly from dunlop.

I use 1.0 mm Dunlop Tortex and my Dad has been able to order em wholesale still, (at least that was the case a month and a half ago) They were $9.97 per gross(144) plus the shipping, but when he orders it's usually alot of stuff, so it's like nothing on shipping unless you get them and nothing else.

They're not graphite like you're thinking. It's like a graphite nut.... whatever kind of plastic with graphite infused in it, to make it a little slicker. They do feel different than a regular pick, but it's nothing like the graphite from a pencil.
The 2mm Adamas graphite picks are the discontinued ones, not Tortex.

In tune will allow you to upload an image and will print it on the picks also. They sell picks in gross (144) They sell basically the same picks as Dunlop. Not sure which one you use, but I have ordered picks from here and they are great. Works out to be about the same price as buying them retail, but you can put your name or your bands name on the picks.
