So there was a thread about 5w practice amps recently and somebody mentioned this little thing called a Blackheart...it was similar to an Epiphone Valve Jr. with more features and the same price.

I went to look it up on Musician's Friend today and it's gone. It's not at Musician.com either. Anybody know what the story is?

not sure, but the Google cached version is still there, and it was back ordered until Monday (9/17). Not sure what the deal is though??? Could be patent infringement, and correct me if im wrong here, but is has to be at least 10% different.

maybe problems with who ever is importing them, the overseas manufactor not being able to ramp up production to meet demand or any number of other things.

The logistics of importing products like that can be pretty staggering

man i hope it gets straightened out. i really dig everything about this amp, especially the price.
