Which Antiquity set do I have?

I acquired a used set of Antiquities for Strat and the seller only knew they were Duncan Antiquities. At the time, I had no idea there was more than one version for Strat. Of course I've learned there are the original Antiquites, Antiquity II, Hots, and Surfers. Is there any way to tell which I have. I like them a lot and would appreciate knowing for future reference. For what it's worth, they do seem hotter than most vintage style Strat pickups, and I've used a bunch over the years. The output seems (not measures, subjective impression only) similar to Fender's CS Fat 50s.

welcome to the forum!

if you look at the bottom of the pups... black = antiquity texas hots, grey = antiquity II surfers. if you put a meter on them you can tell if they are normal (~6.5k) or the hotter custom bridge (~9.5k). if you have humcancelling in the 2 & 4 positions then the middle is rw/rp

Thanks. They're black bottoms and I'd guessed Texas Hots based on the perceived output. I'll put the meter on 'em and see if I have the hotter bridge. Appreciate the reply!

When you get em installed, report back and let us know how they work out. The Texas Hots are great pickups.

pretty sure they are installed already dave ;)

the texas hots arent really that hot but the alnico II magnets give a nice mid push that can seem hotter into some amps
