Which are the differences between different speaker configurations

.....well we all know the differences between a 1x12 a 2x12 and a 4x12 cab.........but what about other less common speaker configurations like 4x10 or 1x15 ??????How a 4x10 compares soundwise to a 1x12 combo or a 4x12 cab??

It just depends on what you want tonally...IMO a 2x10 will STOMP most, if not all 1x12 set ups and a 4x10 is even better! I really prefer 10's to 12's in most situations but not all the time...15's can be cool...they are not as bass heavy as most people think they would be and they add a very cool/swampy character to the tone with the right amp.
