I have used SH6 Duncan Distortion on the bridge of my Vintage VS6 SG. i have use it on my Blackstar HT-5 practice amp, and it seems to be better for metal than SH5 Custom in my Vintage V 100 LP. but only with that amp. now i try it with JCM 800 2204 and the things turned out full to different way. my LP with Custom on bridge sounds better for metal with that amp. so, since the JCM is more on the bright side of the sound, i thought it may be good to replace Distortion in my SG with JB. i also want alnico 5 in the bridge of one of those guitars so will JB sounds darker than Distortion with that amp ? in the neck i have Jazz which seems to be very good for solos.
